A custom storage cabinet holds dishware for team meals. The first floor is a functional office day-to-day, but Wedge also likes to lend it out for community events like book launches, workshops and pop-ups.

The pendant light here is Lambert and Fils, a special piece from the company’s 15th anniversary sale. The Vitsoe 606 storage system displays inspiring books and reference materials.

The warm, earth tones in the kitchen complements the home's rich material palette, ranging from the original red brick to breccia antica marble.

The kitchen cabinets are painted Narragansett Green by Benjamin Moore, with a backsplash of Mineral Tiles. The stools are from Norm Architects by Audo, and the island lights by Original BTC.

In the kitchen, designers Alfie Koetter and Luke Studebaker worked with woodworker Aaron Hauser of Mason Haus to create custom new millwork inspired by the look and feel of the original cabinetry. Hauser sourced sequence matched natural birch that was rotary cut to create the cabinets.

The kitchen and den exist as one continuous space, with one side of the kitchen providing added oak bookshelves for the den. A tomato-red post's color was inspired by flax plants outside.

The relocated kitchen includes Villa Lagoon concrete floor tiles, Heath Ceramics island tiles, Schoolhouse Electric pendant lights and Design Within Reach Valencia stools.

Malak layered green peel-and-stick tiles on top of the existing white tiling, then installed sliding hooks attached to a command strip for more hanging storage.

The architects used natural materials and colors in the kitchen to make the space feel serene, expansive, and connected to the outdoors.

Green linoleum flooring in the kitchen connects the room to the greenery-filled courtyard.

Peacefield Elgin, kitchen and bar space

The remodeled kitchen boasts glass-fronted cabinetry, hand-inlaid counters, high-end appliances, and a charming breakfast area which complements the home's English style.

The kitchen-cum-dining area is an open space that facilitates gatherings, working from home and lets people behind the counters communicate with others outside easily.

The cabinets are Peppercorn Edge from BOXI by Semihandmade, with a backsplash composed of 2x6 ‘Racing Green’ Zia Tile ($18.85/sqft). The custom Living Brass Faucet by Brassna was $512 while all the brass switch plates are from Buster + Punch. The picture lights above the shelf are 8
